Blue Like Jazz Movie

It’s going to become the new thing:  Where were you when you heard that they were making a Blue Like Jazz movie, and that Steve M*******C***G Taylor was slated to direct!  You, like me, are probably in front of your computer.  If they could conceptualize a movie just for me, this would be it.  It’s (hopefully) going to be a real faith journey on a movie screen — and if all goes well, one that doesn’t suck.

And it’s good that they’re giving Steve Taylor something to do.  I love that dude.

I haven’t been this excited since I heard about the Hitchhiker’s movie.  That’s a long time in-between excitements.  Does this mean that if you live long enough, they will one day make all your favorite books into movies?  I hope so.  That would make my remaining days on this earth a little more terrific.
