It’s hard to build momentum with such sporadic posting, but let’s try, shall we? I recently discovered that I’m in fact NOT the only person in the universe, and therefore, other people can do stuff, too. This has helped me develop a life plan that doesn’t cause me so much pain, and has helped other people find stuff to do. Because everyone should be doing stuff.
I must admit that from second-to-second I still have no idea what to do, but I’m getting a better clue on what NOT to do. I’ve been so stressed out for so long it’s hard to function in a valuable way. No, being at the beck and call of psychos is not valuable. And they’re not really psychos per se, they’re just not for me. Does that make sense? No? Well, it does to me.
College football season is almost upon us, and you know what that means: loosely school-affiliated bands of supplement-fueled athletes will be playing our most gladitorial modern sport every week in hopes of one day claiming a mythical national championship. It’s a hypocritical and barbaric dance of futility, and I will love every minute of it. It’ll be a little different to be back in Big 10 country, and a little better. Less talk of Colt McCoy and how he was born in Arizona but his daddy brought some Texas soil into the operating room so he would land on it and be a native fricking Texan, and more talk of how bad Wisconsin is going to be this year. Is 8-4 a possibility, even with their schedule? Only the supplements know.
Got a pie for a buck today a Kroger. It was very small. But, come on, a buck!
A piece of advice: Sometimes, people are bad to you. Also, sometimes people are only nice to you because they want your money. Also, sometimes people you need to get money from are not nice. Sometimes they’ll try to not pay you all that money, and you’ll go along with it because you know the problem is they have no money to begin with, and you’re not trying to destroy them, you just want the money they owe you. Sometimes, you wish other people were as nice as you are.
